Divers float on the surface of a pool in the Salmon River counting spring Chinook and summer steelhead during annual dives sponsored by the Klamath National Forest. Deep pools also may require some of the divers to go deep into pools to make sure that fish are not hiding in the depths. Volunteers from the Salmon River Restoration Council and the community also participate.
