Topic Temperature: Min, Max and Average Noyo River Above Northspur 1999
 
Caption:  Water temperatures in the mainstem Noyo River above its convergence with the North Fork Noyo (site 13) in 1999 peaked at ~20.8 C in mid July. The maximum diurnal temperature shifts ~4.8 degrees C and the seasonal variation was approximately 9.5 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
