This is a map of 1999 USFS Landsat-based vegetation size data and 1:100,000 scale streams in the Sonoma Creek sub-basin. Vegetation in the lower watershed
was primarily non-forest, but there were patches of mature forest in the headwaters of tributary streams in the upper watershed. The vegetation classification is
accurate at a one-hectare scale (approximately 11 pixels) and is suitable for stand classification. Data provided by the U.S. Forest Service Spatial Analysis Lab in
Sacramento, CA. Scale = 1:281,489 .
