| Caption: Percent stream shading was measured at seven sites in the Salmon Creek watershed in 1996 by Bodega Marine Laboratory students. Sites represent short reaches that may not represent overall conditions; See Picture for a map of reach locations. The lowest site is located in a grassy plain near the mouth. Several reaches had good canopy for maintaining cool water temperatures, represented by more than 80% shade. | |
