Habitat: Residual Pool Depth at Bailey Creek Battle WA Sites |

    |
Caption:  This chart shows the average residual pool depth in meters of both scour pools and all pools at all Bailey Creek aquatic monitoring sites for the Battle Creek Watershed Assessment. Scour pools do not include those formed by large wood. The greatest depth occurred in reaches near the L-Line, but pool depth was relatively shallow at all Bailey Creek sites ranging from a foot to two feet deep. Shallow pool depth can be a sign of sediment supply. Abbreviations are ds = downstream and ab = above. Data from Terraqua (2004). See Info Links for more information.
