Caption:  Floating weekly maximum water temperature of the lower South Fork Big River (Site 791) exceeded 18.3 degrees C in all years measured, which indicates that it is temperature limited with regard to coho salmon production. The 18.3 degree C stress threshold for coho salmon was chosen based on Welsh et al. (2001) and Hines and Ambrose (1998). See Info Links for more information.
