Timber Harvest: Lower Middle Trinity - Harvested Area through 2000 |

    |
Caption:  This chart shows the total harvested area (acres) by decade in each sub-watershed within the Lower Middle Trinity Planning Watershed. The first time period category includes data prior to 1950. The different colored bars represent the acres harvested per decade, while the total length of the bars show the total area harvested during the period of pre-1950 to 2000. In most sub-watersheds, timber harvest was most intensive between the 1960 and 1980; however, harvest activity has continued through decades that are more recent. Other sub-watersheds, such as Oregon Gulch and Mill Creek, have experienced intensified harvest in decades that are more recent. Data are from Graham Matthews and Associates Trinity River Sediment Source Analysis (2001). See Info Links for more information.
