Habitat: Average Maximum Pool Depths for Navarro River and Tribs 1996 |

    |
Caption:  The chart shows average maximum pool depths for the Navarro River and tributary streams surveyed in 1996. Pools in excess of three feet are rare in the Navarro River basin, which is likely limiting both coho (Brown et al., 1994) and older age steelhead (Reeves, 1988) juvenile production. The main branches of the North Fork Navarro River are larger order streams, which have substantial scouring ability. Data provided by Entrix et al. (1998). See Info Links for more information.
