Caption:  The chart shows the floating weekly maximum water temperature in Celsius (°C) at upper Greenwood Creek (Site 84-3) for the years 1994-95, 1997, and 1999-2001. Maximum floating weekly maximum temperatures exceeded 18.3°C in four of six years measured, which contrasts with floating weekly average temperatures and indication if suitability for coho. The 18.3°C stress reference value for coho salmon was chosen based on Hines and Ambrose (1998). Temperature data comes from automated water temperature data probes placed by the Mendocino Redwood Company.
