Caption:  The bar graph above shows the number of hours in the week in summer 1994 that the Middle Fork of the North Fork Noyo (site 08) water temperatures exceeded 16 degrees Celsius which is the stress threshold used in KRIS Noyo (see InfoLinks). The weeks of the year on the Chart are from the second week in May to the second week in October 1994. The records show that 16 C was exceeded for a few hours per week in May but that most weeks showed temperatures exceeding this threshold are in late June to early August in 1994. Data provided by the Mendocino Redwood Company.
