Topic	Temperature: Min, Max and Average Hayworth above NF Noyo 1996

 

Caption:  Water temperatures in Hayworth Creek at the North Fork Noyo (site 03) in 1996 peaked at ~20.7 C in late July. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was of just under 4 C and the seasonal variation was approximately 10 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
