Topic	Temperature: Min, Max and Average Middle Fork of NF Noyo 1994

 

Caption:  Water temperatures in the Middle Fork of the North Fork Noyo (site 08) peaked at 17.6 C in early July 1994. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was of just under 3.5 C and the seasonal variation was approximately 8 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
