   Caption:  Water temperatures in the North Fork Hayworth Creek (site 05) in 1994 peaked at ~20.6 C in early July. The maximum diurnal temperature shift was just under 6 C and the seasonal variation was approximately 10.8 degrees C.  The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference.
