Caption:  The chart above shows the maximum, average, and minimum daily temperatures at the Upper North Fork Noyo (site10) for 1995. The seasonal variation of temperature at this site is approximately 7 degrees C and the nocturnal-diurnal fluctuations are just over 3 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
