   Caption:  Water temperatures at upper North Fork Noyo (site 10) in 1999 peaked at ~16.1 C in late June, ~17.2 C in mid-July, and ~17.5 C in late August. Nocturnal/diurnal temperature variation showed a maximum of approximately 3 degrees C and seasonal variation was ~9 degrees C. The optimal water temperature for salmonid salmon growth of 10-15 degrees C (Brett, 1952) is shown for reference. Data provided by Mendocino Redwood Company.
