Habitat: Maximum Pool Depths for Middle Redwood |
|
Caption: The California Department of Fish and Game attempts to measure maximum depth for every pool surveyed. Pools with depths in excess of 2.5 feet were judged by CDFG in NCWAP to provide higher quality salmonid rearing and holding habitat. Streams are sorted by size because large streams (top) naturally provide deeper pools than small streams (bottom). See Info Links for more information.
