The image above shows USFS tree size classes for 90 meter riparian strips in the May Creek Calwater based on a 1994 Landsat image. Note the preponderance of large, very large and giant trees in the riparian zone. The stand types are only accurate at the one-hectare scale. Legend from ArcView appears at left.
