Caption: This Chart shows maximum floating weekly average temperature (MWAT) for each site in tributaries to the Russian River in the Guerneville sub-basin with available data in the years 1994-2001. Sites are grouped by stream and are listed in upstream order, beginning on the left side of the chart with the lowest Willow Creek site and ending with upper Sexton Creek listed on the far right. Green Valley Creek was the only site where MWAT ever exceed 16.8°C. Welsh et al. (2001) found that coho are not likely to persist where MWAT exceeds 16.8°C. See InfoLinks for more information.
