Fish: Seine Samples in Green Valley Cr 1993-2001 - Coho Abundance |
|
Caption: This chart displays the average number of juvenile coho captured in each habitat unit sampled by seine net in Green Valley Creek during the period 1993-2001. Sampling occurred in the same five pools during summer and fall of each year. Whiskers show one standard error and represent variation among units in each season. Fall abundance of juvenile coho was not always lower than summer abundance indicating that sampling variability was capable of masking the effects of over summer mortality or emigration. Data were collected by Merritt Smith Consulting for the City of Santa Rosa.
