| This map shows the unit-level results of a July and August 1992 habitat typing survey of the Russian River in the Alexander Valley reach. Pool Units are color-coded by maximum depth. Of the 51 pools measured, only 1 was 8 feet deep. The surveyed reach extends from the confluence of Big Sulphur Springs to the intersection of the mainstem and the Alexander Valley Bridge.
