Land Use: Peterson Creek Watershed |
|
Caption: This chart shows that the Peterson Creek watershed still has more than 25% of its area in an undeveloped condition and a smaller component of Commercial development than many other Santa Rosa Creek sub-basins. However, Residential development makes up more than half of the watershed, and Peterson Creek is over thresholds expected to compromise biodiversity and to change natural patterns of flow. Data are from the Sustainable Land Stewardship Institute (2002) and a study performed for the City of Santa Rosa. See InfoLinks for more information.
