   Caption:  This chart shows the minimum, mean, and maximum calcium levels measured during the Maine Department of Environmental Protection WQM Program's 2000-2002 stormflow study. Data were collected in October-July..  Generally, calcium levels are much greater in the West Branch than in the Mainstem Sheepscot and it's tributaries. Ca levels in Wingood Brook were around 2.5 mg/L, the level of calcium at which salmon would experience a nutrient deficiency (Arter, 2004).  See Info Links for more information.
