Caption: The above chart shows V* results for Ten Mile River basin sites sample by Knopp in 1992. V* is in decimal percent. A V* of 0.5 indicates that half of the pool is filled with fine sediment. The Ten Mile River TMDL recommended a V* target of 0.21. SF Ten Mile River has two pools below and three pools above the target while all six pools in Churchman Creek dramatically exceeded the threshold. The weighted average V* for SF Ten Mile River was 0.27. Churchman Creek had a weighted average V* of 0.73 in 1992.
